Purpose and Role |
Under this philosophy and policy, the Hitachi Group companies and six related foundations seek to achieve their corporate/organizational social responsibilities. At the same time, we have redefined such social contributions carried out by each company not just as charity work, but also as vital corporate activities that enhance both our corporate and brand values, while striving to realize a better society through the collective implementation of social activities.
Hitachi Group employees strive to improve themselves through contributory social activities such as volunteer activities. Such activities not only better society, but also serve to generate greater corporate strength, and are linked to an improved corporate evaluation.
