Tokyo, December 26, 2002 --- Hitachi, Ltd. (NYSE:HIT) today announced that Hiroshi Kuwahara, currently Director of Hitachi, will become a Vice Chairman of the Board and Representative Director as of January 6, 2003. Mr. Kuwahara will conclude his term as an executive member of the Council for Science and Technology Policy, Cabinet Office, on January 5. |
