An 8-digit indicator

The system displays the version number of the optional module, CPU status, date and time, error messages and other details.

Real-time multitask OS ("Compact PMS") provided as standard equipment

The system comes standard with Compact PMS, which is a full-fledged real-time multitask OS. It performs real-time multitask processing for up to 128 tasks.

S10/2α series and user program compatibility *1

The system allows you to use the existing S10/2α series ladder program, HI-FLOW program, C language programs and other valuable software assets.

The C language for the S10/2α needs partial modification.
When you use the ladder program for the S10/4α series, you must replace the address of the memory area.

Higher reliability and maintainability

Reliability and maintainability are increased by the automatic correction function for memory parity errors (1-bit) and the ROM version of the system program.

Compatibility with open networks

As a general-purpose network Ethernet, FL-net and field network, this system is compatible with OPCN-1 and DeviceNet. It also supports autonomous decentralized communication NX.

It is possible to mix optional modules with input/output modules

Modularization enables a flexible system layout.

32-points and 64-points digital modules

The system provides 32-points input or output modules, 64-points input or output modules, and 32-points input and output modules. While saving wiring, the system can be made a reality with little space.

Large-capacity memory (expandable to up to 4M bytes)

As the C language program area, HI-FLOW program area and data area, the model D incorporates 2M bytes of memory. Mounting an additional memory module can expand the system to up to 4M bytes. The system can be compatible with advanced and complex computing.

Programming tools compatible with Windows ® (DOS/V-compatible PCs)

A comfortable operating environment can become a reality on Windows ®. As a communication interface, the system supports not only RS-232C but also Ethernet, which is also compatible with high-speed and large-capacity operations.

Supporting three languages of the ladder diagram, C language and HI-FLOW

In addition to the "ladder diagram," the system supports a flowchart language (HI-FLOW) that is readable and easy to understand, and C language-the universal computer-use language.

The system comes standard with remote I/O

The system allows I/O decentralized equipment to be installed easily, thereby helping to save wiring costs. (2,048 points per CPU)

The mounting area has been reduced by about half (*2). This reduces the size requirement and saves space

The remote I/O provided as standard equipment controls up to 2,048 points. Moreover, when J.NET is used, the system controls up to 8,192 points.
