Vertical Traveling Screen

Overview

Wiseflow Screen is a fine mesh screen with large capacity and a wide range of applications.
The screen is useful for removing foreign substances affecting each process in water intake and sewage water treatment.

Configuration

The filtering area is composed of many plates that are equally spaced as a type of bar screen.
The screen is mounted on a conveyer chain in an endless configuration.
This screen moves continuously in and out of the water.

Features

  1. Assured removal of small debris
    Flexibility in mesh size design, anywhere from 2mm to 12mm (standard mesh size is 2.5mm and 5.0mm).
    Long thin debris does not become tangled on the screen thanks to the nature of the parallel plate structure.
  2. Large screen area and high aperture ratio
    Continuous movement of the screen ensures that a fresh screen area is continuously exposed to incoming water.
  3. Combination with discharge unit
    Due to the external screen drive structure, the discharge unit can be easily installed on the inside of the screen.
  4. High durability and long life
    Durability and long life are due to high anticorrosion characteristics of the materials (stainless steel or synthetic resin for wet parts).
  5. Easy maintenance
    The drive unit is installed outside of the water.
