Hitachi has received the RobecoSAM “Bronze Class” distinction in recognition of our leadership in sustainability performance in “The Sustainability Year Book 2016” which was announced on January 20. This is 3rd following 2011 and 2015.
RobecoSAM is a world renowned SRI (Socially Responsible Investment) rating company who is also an analyst of a global SRI index, Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI). Every year RobecoSAM analyzes about 3,000 companies globally from the aspect of economic, environmental, and social and selects sustainability leaders. This year they awarded 77 companies with the Gold Class, 74 companies with the Silver Class, and 97 companies with the Bronze Class for the best 15% per industry.
