Pollutec is the key global exhibition for environment professionals, providing a stage for the full range of pollution prevention and treatment technologies, and, more generally, for the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development. Pollutec 2008 was the 23rd exhibition of its kind and brought together around 2,300 exhibitors from all areas of environmental technology with approximately 74,000 visitors.

At Pollutec, Hitachi introduced its latest technology regarding the environment in a wide range of business fields. Panel displays showing a short film of Hitachi’s environmental activities and room air-conditioners were part of the Hitachi stand, which saw about 2000 visitors during the event. Some visitors showed a deep interest in Hitachi’s environmental activities and eagerly asked a lot of questions. This was a great opportunity to remind them of the importance of our environmental activities.
