The "Hitachi Tree" is a big tree "spreading its roots on the ground, spreading its boughs, producing flowers of various colors and bearing fruit" which symbolizes the Hitachi Group's integrated ability, growth potential and varied and vigorous business. Since first appearing in a TV commercial around 30 years ago in Japan, this tree has conveyed our passion to many people. Now, this mighty tree, which has grown up richly, also embodies our passion for the future, fermented through the various approaches for the environment. The Hitachi Group will continue to proceed forward with this "Hitachi Tree" as heretofore.
