The Hitachi Tree On-Line

Hitachi

We introduce you the Moanalua Gardens, the home of the "Hitachi Tree," in this section.

Moanalua Gardens is within about 30 minutes' drive from Waikiki of Oahu Island in the Hawaiian Islands. Many people are familiar with this park as a spot for recreation and relaxation for locals or also sightseeing. The gardens house not only plants native to Hawaii but also various others collected from all over the world, including monkey pod trees.
Moanalua Gardens was originally the property of the Kamehameha royal family that founded the Kingdom of Hawaii, and Moanalua Gardens also contains a cottage of King Kamehameha V, constructed in the 1850s.
