Moanalua Gardens in Hawaii is home to the Hitachi Tree.

Moanalua Gardens is about a 30 minute drive from Waikiki on Oahu Island in Hawaii. The park is a popular spot for recreation and relaxation with both locals and sightseers. The gardens have not only plants native to Hawaii but also various others from all over the world, including monkeypod trees.
Moanalua Gardens was originally the property of the Kamehameha royal family that founded the Kingdom of Hawaii, and Moanalua Gardens also has a cottage for King Kamehameha V on its grounds, constructed in the 1850s.
