Hitachi Asia also houses the International Procurement Group which is responsible for sourcing and supplying high-quality, cost-competitive materials from Asia to Hitachi's manufacturing plants worldwide.

Hitachi's first Asian procurement office was established in Hong Kong in 1974. With over 25 years of experience in this field, the Group plays an integral role in strengthening the competitiveness of Hitachi products.

In addition to parts and materials, these offices also provide thorough and timely sourcing of software and contract manufacturers.
