Hitachi

Reliable total solutions in Mobile Networking & Telecommunication

Overview

Overview

Recent advances in mobile communications technology are remarkable. For example, the coupling of mobile and IP technologies offers the potential to deliver ever-increasing bandwidth to mobile subscribers and locations previously unreachable by broadband services. From the very beginning, Hitachi has marketed a CDMA 1xEV-DO system that combines mobile and IP technologies to enable subscribers to access high speed connections from practically anywhere. In addition to wireless base stations, Hitachi has supplied total solutions incorporating gateways, maintenance systems, installation and optimization. Not only that, Hitachi's Central Research Laboratory is at the forefront of research on wireless communication, mobile IP networks and gateways that will be a vital part of WiMAX 3.9G mobile communication such as LTE/SAE systems, 4G IMT-Advanced systems and cognitive-wireless communication systems in the future.
