The ER2000 1xEV-DO PDSN-A serves as a gateway between 3GPP2 1xEV-DO Rev. A radio access network (RAN) and the Internet or other IP-based networks. PDSN-A is compatible with Mobile-IP inter-PDSN handover functions, as well as with Simple-IP gateway functions. Supporting IS835-D compliant QoS capability, PDSN-A also accommodates VoIP traffic with low-latency, high-speed IP packet processing.
