Using its Job Management Partner 1, Hitachi, Ltd. is focusing on training certified engineers in China. The company aims to increase the number of certified engineers at its local affiliated companies and business partners, as well as in the IT departments of its customers. Meanwhile, Hitachi is willingly offering Job Management Partner 1 to the graduate school of Fudan University in Shanghai to enable the solution to be used by faculty and students as a practical education tool that will broaden the base of engineering education.

Bringing the software business to the world

Under the leadership of president Hiroaki Nakanishi, Hitachi Ltd. is accelerating its software business for information/communication systems to overseas markets. By the end of 2015 (March 2016), Hitachi plans to multiply its revenues by three times over 10 years. It continues to increase the sale of storage-related software in regional markets, including North America, Europe, and Asia. These plans were revealed by Software Director Jun Abe, who was promoted to the top of the software division on April 1.
