The support status of cluster software on a cloud platform is described for each OS version.
For the Japan region, the following problem was resolved by measures implemented on the Microsoft Azure side: A JP1 product that uses a load balancer for a cluster configuration in a Microsoft Azure environment and performs failover while Floating IP (Direct Server Return, which is hereinafter abbreviated to DSR) is enabled cannot communicate with other servers.
For regions other than the Japan region, please check with the customer support center for Microsoft Azure.
Note: When contacting Microsoft, inform the person in charge that your inquiry is about a case in which attempts to establish VIP communication starting from a server configured in the environment fail if the HA port and DSR are enabled by using Standard ILB on Microsoft Azure.
For this reason, we will resume general support for failovers where a load balancer for a cluster configuration is used in a Microsoft Azure environment and a Floating IP (DSR) is enabled.
