Explanation

A "camera array" is an array of cameras aligned in a grid pattern.
In the case that full-parallax, three-dimensional (3D) video images are created, the visibility of the subject from viewpoints other than the shooting viewpoint is calculated on the basis of video data taken from multiple viewpoints, and images are created.
The camera array is a very useful system for capturing the video data on which this calculation is based.
