Explanation

A concentrated power source is a large-scale power-generating facility located at some distance from the point of power demand. The term is used in contrast with a dispersed power source (which is located near the point of power demand). For a concentrated power source, thermal, hydro, nuclear, and other kinds of power are utilized.
