Internet of Things
The "Internet of Things" (IoT) is a framework in which all "things" in society are connected to the internet and mutually exchange information via networks. Information collected from these "things" is utilized to uncover new value for the betterment of society.
For example, the IoT makes it possible to create a comfortable living environment by enabling home electrical appliances to be controlled by mobile devices from outside the home and to prevent trouble in advance by allowing on-site machinery to be monitored via the internet.
