Explanation

A real-time operating system (OS) is an operating system designed with emphasis on executing processing in real-time. It is mounted in equipment and devices (such as those for use in measurement equipment, control devices, and application-specific devices) that must execute event processing in real-time. By means of rigorous schedule management, forecasting of response time and processing time becomes possible.
