Explanation

Searchable encryption is an encryption technology for searching data in an encrypted state. Although various methods for searchable encryption have been proposed, schemes that use data-retrieval indexes and tags to determine whether data correspond have been widely adopted. Since it can handle not only retrieval-target data but also search keywords in an encrypted state, searchable encryption is gaining considerable attention as a useful technology for safe and secure utilization of data on the cloud.
