We have seen the processing speed of computers leap upward in recent years. Adding to such progress, Hitachi has been applying advanced modeling and programming technology and making full use of the latest computing architectures to achieve simulations that are both larger in scale and more accurate than have previously been possible, and it is now possible to even simulate the entire product.
About simulation of electrical systems in particular, Hitachi has developed two high-performance programs, ECTAS and LUVENS, which we are using in design and problem solving for various products, including printed circuit boards and automobile generators.
