Information and Control System Technology

Environmental friendliness, safety and comfort are requirements for the automobiles, railways, and buildings that we all use in our everyday lives as well as for the facilities used in electric power generation, industry and other parts of the social infrastructure. To meet those requirements, we are expanding capabilities in the direction of electronic control and the ubiquitous information society. Hitachi has been moving forward with R & D on embedded software and hardware for the controllers (control devices) that are fundamental to those diverse systems. We are contributing to creating a society that is safe, comfortable and in harmony with the environment by focusing on technology for higher degrees of safety for the critical control devices that support the social infrastructure and the microcontrollers and system LSIs that are the core components of controllers and the sensors that use them. We are also focusing on technology for improving the productivity of embedded controller software for automobiles and other applications.
