We research and develop on power electronics equipments for Power system.Our research of the power control equipments are aiming that, more number of renewable energy system and distributed generation system are attached to power system without influence of generated power fluctuation, and generated power is supplied with high-efficiency to power system.

2-MW wind turbine generation system

We research and develop the control technology and the power electronics systems for enlarged field on power system.
Wind turbine generation (WTG) system is expected to reduction of carbon-dioxide emission; as WTG is generate from natural energy. But generated power of WTG is fluctuate, because wind speed is fluctuation.Our power-conditioning system (PCS) for WTG is controled on active-power based control method. The short-time fluctuation of generating power is reduced by this control. And voltage fluctuation of the power system is reduced by reactive power control of PCS.

Furthermore, we research and develop IGBT converter for power system; i.e. Static Var Compensator (STATCOM), and control algorithm for it. Voltage fluctuation of power system (due to rapid change of loads connected to the power system) is reduced by STATCOM.
