Innovation technology for a better environment -- Superconductor R & D

Superconducting materials, which have zero electrical resistance, hold promise as a break-through technology for solving our environmental problems. In recent years, products that apply superconductors to revolutionize the performance of conventional systems have appeared on the market. Hitachi has been engaged in study of Superconductivity for over 40 years. We promote R&D of innovative superconducting systems by fusing the broad disciplines of advanced technology such as computational science, spectrometry, and communication and fundamental fields such as physics and chemistry.
We are continuing to develop applied superconducting products that are people-friendly and easy to use by advancing system technology.
