We are advancing the superconducting magnet systems that are used in medical MRI systems, nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometers, fusion devices, accelerators, magnetic separation devices and other such applications. By advancement, we mean binging benefit to all of those who receive the services as well as to the users and operators of the superconductor technology at the workplace. We will continue to develop applied superconductor products that are people-friendly and easy to use.

With the objective of greatly increasing the sensitivity of the liquid NMR spectrometer, we developed 'SuperNMR' consisted of a solenoid-type antenna for high performance signal detection and split-type superconducting magnets. Through R & D that extended over five years, we achieved split-type superconducting magnet system with excellent field homogeneity, cryogenic NMR probe for improving the signal to noise ratio (S/N) and low-noise signal processing system for high sensitive NMR measurement. We also developed the "sample circulation system", a new application that uses the cruciform structure bore, a feature of the 'SuperNMR. The NMR measurement section and the chemicals feeder (flow reactor) that constitute the circulation path simultaneous NMR measurement under the continuous change of reaction condition. This feature is expected to perform well in bio-medical application such as protain interaction mesurement.
