Our research and development is focused on the followings: electronic engine control systems for more efficient combustion with various valves and sensors; camera and image-processing technologies for active safely system of vehicles; car navigation systems and prediction technology of traffic information for providing optimum routes for drivers; and electrical equipment like motors and inverters for supporting hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs). Hitachi Research Laboratory is creating safe, and comfortable vehicles by exploiting these advanced technologies.
