We (Hitachi research laboratory) are working on research and development of active safety technology using
cooperation of the sensing technology (a radar, a Camera and a navigation system) and vehicle control technology
to realize prevent crash.
We are aiming at realization of comfortable automotive society without accidents.
In the car field such as the car manufacturer in recent years, the new
technology called the active safety is developed to prevent traffic
accidents. For aiming at realization of safe and comfortable traffic
society, we (Hitachi Research Laboratory) are working on research and
development of two technologies. The one is a sensing technology
using a car navigation, a camera and a radar. The other is a suitable
vehicle control technology according to the operation conditions.
- Adaptive Cruise Control using a navigation :
- recognizes road environment of curves and decelerates automatically before curves using a navigation and a camera.
- Lane departure prevention :
- This system gives the alarm to drivers
to prevent deviation from a lane using lane recognition.
- Vehicle detection :
- This system detects the surrounding vehicle
and supports appropriate break control using a camera and a radar.
