Service Platform for Industrial Systems

New system architecture, utilizing the ubiquitous IT in the social infrastructure, is being developed to enable seamless integration of devices in the field to backend systems. A service platform which uses Autonomous Decentralized System technology, is also being developed, to enable plug and play operation and secure ad hoc cooperation among field devices, providing rapid decision support by visualizing field situations. These technologies have been proposed to standardizing bodies such as ISO^*4 and OMG^*5 for application in a range of industrial systems such as manufacturing, power utilities, building automation, etc.
