To provide even more safety and comfort in our everyday lives, whether it be at home, school, work or in the community, Hitachi is conducting research on Sensor Network based services and solutions for a ubiquitous information society. The combination of compact wireless sensors and a network system, is not only providing services to increase comfort in the home and workplace, but is also finding application in other areas of society, such as in medical treatment and crime prevention.
