Ubiquitous Social Solutions using Sensor Networks

Research is being conducted on solutions using sensor network technology to achieve a secure, safe, comfortable and healthy ubiquitous society. Making full use of TCP/IP protocol stack software requiring minimal memory, wireless network system technology, and user-oriented system solutions as core technology, small wireless sensor devices and SNS^*-sensor network unified systems are being developed. Such technology can be applied to personal security solutions for the home or during commutes to and from school, or support systems for nursing, preventative healthcare, diet, office energy management, etc.
