"Integral Videography" is being investigated as one means of producing autostereoscopic displays presenting three-dimensional information as naturally as possible without the use of special eyewear, by controlling the direction of light rays from the display using a microlens array. With this structure, both vertical and horizontal disparity can be expressed and very natural three-dimensional ray information reproduced. A total system including content as well as hardware is being developed for application in such areas as education, entertainment, and other public applications.
