Hitachi

Server virtualization technology achieving high reliability and flexibility

At Hitachi, R&D is being conducted on server virtualization systems which partition servers, transforming physical servers into logical servers. Server virtualization facilitates whole system control and enhances security and speed, while contributing to the reduced power costs and environmental load. Further, through the development of open source software such as Linux*, we are working to build social IT infrastructure.
