Leaks in confidential business information or personal data can cause serious damage to a business. Thus, it is of utmost importance to business to install measures to prevent such leaks. On the other hand, in the unfortunate event of a leak, prompt investigation to determine range and route of the leak to stem the flow of information and assess damage, is important. To support this investigation, R&D is being conducted on "log analysis" and "digital watermarking", which are effective identifying leakage routes of both electronic files and printed information.
