SensorNet are a scheme for connecting various sensor devices (such as temperature sensors, humidity sensors, and vibration sensors) to a network and gathering information regarding the status of environments, people, and things in real time. Drawing much attention as a technology for further enriching every-day lives in the "ubiquitous information society", SensorNet are expected to find applications in a wide range of fields (such as security, disaster prevention, and energy conservation).
