Sensor Network Web Service System for Collecting, Managing, and Providing Various Sensor Information

Owing to the progression of "sensor network technology," it has become possible to collect and manage various kinds of data in a "ubiquitous environment." In collaboration with the Technology Alliance Group Inc., Hitachi has developed a compact "sensor gateway"—for simplifying set up and control of sensors—as well as a "senor network web service system" called "Collectlo®"—for centrally managing information automatically collected from the sensor gateway. We are aiming to commercialize these technologies as Application Service Provider (ASP) services for supporting the implementation of a "healthy, safe and secure, and energy-saving society."
