Redactable Digital Signatures for Secure and Easy-to-use Digital Document Systems

Digital signature technology guarantees the authenticity of digital documents. Redaction technology protects privacy in information publishing. Coexistence of both technologies is current problem. Focusing on those issues, Hitachi has developed redactable (sanitizable) digital signature technology that guarantees document authenticity even after redaction.
