Speakers

More than 500 people attended the two-day forum. They included business people, government officials, academics and university students. The distinguished guest of honour and keynote speaker for the first-day forum was Yang Berhormat Dato'Dr. Shafie Mohamed Salleh, Minister of Higher Education, Malaysia. The second-day forum's keynote speaker was Dra. Leila Retna Komala, MA, Appointed Representative of Dr. Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Minister of State for National Development Planning / Chairperson of National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), and Deputy Minister of National Development Planning for Human Resources and Cultural Affairs, Indonesia. They both kindly accepted to make keynote speeches on the theme for the 7th HYLI " Balancing People, Planet & Profit in Asia's Future " to show their support for the purpose of this program.
