Prism Award

In February, 2000, Hitachi, Ltd. was given an Excellence Award for HYLI in Community Service. This is one of ten awards called "PRISM (=Public Relations In the Service of Mankind) Award", which is organized by the Institute of Public Relations of Singapore (IPRS) in recognition of the outstanding achievements and good public relations practice in serving the Singapore community. Hitachi is the first Japanese Company to receive such an accolade, since the awards began in 1986.The prestigious award aims to encourage and reward creativity and best overall application of communications programs across broad areas of industry.
