Hitachi Group is unique in its ability to provide this one-stop service as it covers both development and installation of industrial equipment, including air conditioning equipment in various facilities, and IT services, including system operation and management.

Recently, the demand for data centers has been increasing due to the popularization of cloud computing and in order to maintain facility operations even during a major disaster. Also, with the enormous growth in demand for outsourcing due to the increase in the volume of information used by individuals and companies, the importance of reliable data centers as a social infrastructure is increasing.

The "Facility & IT Management Service" provides a one-stop service solution throughout the life-cycle of the data center, including location research, planning and design of buildings, construction of related facilities, equipment installation, management & maintenance; IT system build, operation, evaluation and upgrade/update, not only for data centers, but also for companies operating their own server rooms or companies planning to launch or build data centers. It also provides all necessary activities for IT system management of data centers and server rooms, leaving companies to focus on their main business.

From this point forward, Hitachi Systems and Hitachi will offer services to support data centers in the cloud computing market, that is growing rapidly in Japan and overseas.

Through this service, Hitachi Systems will continue to develop new business service fields beyond regular IT services by collaborating with Hitachi and Hitachi Group companies. Furthermore, Hitachi Systems, in cooperation with Hitachi Group companies and local partners, will launch the "GNEXT Facility & IT Management Service" to service the global market, including ASEAN and China, where demand for data centers is expected to grow rapidly.
