From batch processing machines to continuous processing polymerizer, we have a long record of providing various types of high viscous material processor and polymerization plants.
Our polymerizer achieve complete mixing by use of agitation blades specially suited to polymerization/high viscosity production.
The Lattice blade type polymerizer with a structure joining a lattice-shaped blade provides complete mixing at low force of ultra-high viscous fluids at or above 5,000 Pa·s.

To meet the needs of an increasingly diverse market, we offer high performance polymers that have been highly valued as materials for optic components and electronics components. In order to manufacture these products with quality, we have sought specifications for our processing equipment that result in greatly exceeding former levels of viscosity and purity. To that end we developed a shaft-less lattice blade type polymerizer that joins a lattice-shaped blade. The innovative agitation blade structure enables continuous processing of ultra-high viscous fluids at or above 5,000 Pa·s Moreover, there is no dead space within the drum, providing nearly 100% piston flow and thereby enabling production of a clean high-performance polymer.

  1. Instead of a flat blade, the agitator blade has a structure that 3-dimensionally combines round bars.
    Former equipment was limited to 5,000 Pa·s (Hitachi's comparison), but our reactor is capable of continuously processing ultra-high viscous fluids at or above 5,000 Pa·s.
  2. The shaft-less structure is simple.
    This enables production of a high purity polymer, while eliminating concerns about causing contamination.
  3. The polymerizer provides piston flow that nears 100%.
    There is no processing liquid residue because the entire drum wall is scraped.

Implementation is possible for all polymers of high viscosity. (Exceptionally well suited to manufacturing high value-added plastics.)

Mixing characteristics of the lattice blade

The piston flow provides various benefits. Virtually no dead space can be seen in the tank. The red component in the photograph is a tracer. The piston flow moves the processing fluid without reverse mixing against the flow direction.
Approximately 4/8 stages are suitable for providing various benefits with a viscosity of 5,000 Pa·s There is complete mixing in the radial direction. In addition, the blade greatly reduces the power in comparison with conventional blades.
