In the design of polymerizer, we estimate the performance of the actual equipment, and use bench scale test data to successfully increase scale, and investigate the specification through use of numerical simulations.

Design of the polymerizer by simulation

We designs polymerizer by utilizing polymerization reaction simulators for various polymers, such as polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polylactic acid (PLA) and polycarbonate (PC). Moreover, to evaluate the liquid surface area of a molten polymer due to agitation, the facility produces highly accurate analyses by carrying out mixing simulations using free surface analysis programs in combination with a polymerization simulation.
