Followings are production processes that we originally developed for manufacturing chemicals.

An annual plant capacity of 1.5million tons was realized, as of December 2009, according to our own research. It has also been highly evaluated by the customer for the quality of the purified terephthalic acid (PTA) produced, as well as raw material consumption per unit of product. The strength of our technology makes a significant contribution to the success of our customers' business.

Our process also produces good quality polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), from purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and 1.4-butanediol (BDO). Going forward, polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) will be an indispensable component of engineering plastics. We produce polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) of the quality our customers' requirements. We can also accommodate needs for BDO production plants and tetrahydrofuran recovery and refinery plants.

polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a general-purpose plastic made through polycondensation of PTA with ethylene glycol (EG). This material has many outstanding properties: resistance to both heat and cold, transparency, electrical qualities, chemical proof and abrasion proof; For all these reasons, it is finding a wide variety of applications in the fibers, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle and films. We have own licenses for an polycondensation process for producing polyethylene terephthalate (PET).

Production process for polylactic acid (PLA)

polylactic acid (PLA) is a bioplastic produced from lactic acid derived from botanical sources. This polymer, which is defined as carbon-neutral because it is biodegradable and made from renewable biomass, is expected to make a big contribution to CO2 reduction. We began developing this process in 2000, and finally we succeeded in devising a practical method. We support our customers' operations from procurement of lactic acid through the production process itself, to establishing sales routes for their polylactic acid (PLA) products. This contributes both to the success of our customers' business and to the prevention of global warming.

Solutions involving other processes

In addition to our integrated production processes from raw materials to finished products we are also able to provide our customers with solutions based on our process know-how. Feel free to inquire about PC, PTT, and PDO production plants.
In our test facilities, we can carry out process verification and confirmation for processes for various polymers made by the melt polymerization method. Our plants feature a full lineup of equipment indispensable for the handling of High-viscous materials; we also design and provide equipment.
