[Image] Contributions to reducing CO2 emissions by 100 million tons a year from Hitachi Group Products by FY2025

Since our inception, Hitachi has contributed to society through visionary technologies. We will continue to promote environmental conservation by combining the Hitachi Group' s strengths in order to establish a sustainable global environment through our technologies.

The Hitachi Group established ' Environmental Vision 2025' in December 2007. Our goal is to reduce CO2 emissions associated with Hitachi Group products by 100 million tons commencing in FY2025.

To achieve this, our challenge is to replace the majority of all Hitachi Group products with Eco-Products* by FY2025.

Environmental Vision 2025
The Hitachi Group established the 'Environmental Vision 2025' to protect the global environment and help achieve a more sustainable society.

* Eco-Products are products that meet eight criteria including weight reduction, resource recycling, energy efficiency, and environmental conservation defined in the Assessment for DfE (Design for Environment) unique to the Hitachi Group.
