Wild Birds Sanctuary Project

Since July of 1993, Enterprise Server Division has started the "Wild Birds Sanctuary Project" under the mission of creating an environment which many wild birds will gather by utilizing the rich nature of Tanzawa mountain area. In this project, we plant fruitful trees and made watering places, bird nests and feeding boards. At present, 66 types of wild birds are recognized on the premises.

In addition to these activities, we hold local voluntary programs through out the year, such as holding Bird Watching and lecture meetings inviting specialists, as well as building a colony of water birds.

On the other hand, since elementary students in Hatano City are eager to participate in wild bird preservation activities, Hitachi is taking positive action with the locals through the common focus, the wild birds, by implementing various programs including introduction of the project in schools by employees, building bird nests together with the children, and holding joint Bird Watching.
