Hitachi in Mexico

In 1938 Hitachi started selling motors in Mexico, and later in 1959 established a Mexican Representative Office. Starting in the 1950’s and up to the 2000’s Hitachi sold in Mexico various generating units for hydro and thermal utility power stations as well as industrial equipment for the oil & gas, steel making and other industrial sectors. Hitachi also had sold TVs from 1980’s and up to the 2000’s to Mexican consumers which resulted Hitachi Brand became well known in the market

And from now on Hitachi aims to be actively involved in the Social Innovation Business in Mexico, to contribute in overcoming the social challenges by means of deploying Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) and incorporating superior products and services, for achieving a future in which people can live in safety and prosperity.
