MAPE is an abbreviation of Monitoring, Analysis, Planning and Execution. MAPE loop refers to implementing information system operations by repeating the cycle of these four steps. Information systems are monitored to check if any problem has occurred. If a problem is identified, analysis is conducted to find the cause. A plan is formulated to solve the problem, and the solution is performed at the appropriate time. A MAPE loop, which goes through this process repeatedly, is aimed at finding system problems as early as possible and addressing them efficiently.
