Multimedia encryption algorithm and Stream cipher No. 01
Hitachi's encryption mode of operation for a stream cipher. While conventional stream ciphers preserve only data confidentiality, MULTI-S01 also preserves data integrity as it is able to detect changes to the data, even on one bit level. MULTI-S01 may be used in conjunction with MUGI.
