Explanation

A technique for shaping synthetic resins. The main shaping techniques are injection molding, vacuum molding, extrusion molding, blow molding, thermoforming, compression molding, and foam molding. Of these, the most common is injection molding, in which hot, liquid resin is poured into a die, and removed from the die after it has cooled and hardened.
