Explanation

The train schedule is a visual display of the operation scheduling and train movement for a transportation organization. In the train schedule, the horizontal axis is time and the stations are arranged along the vertical axis. A train is represented by one line. The inclination of the line indicates the speed of the train, with higher slope indicating higher speed. When the line is horizontal, it indicates that the train has stopped. It goes without saying that the diagram is indispensable to train operation planning and to the work of the train drivers and conductors.
