  • The Enocoro site launched.

What is Enocoro?

Enocoro is a family of pseudorandom number generators (stream ciphers) developed by Hitachi, Ltd. In this site, we mainly provide the technical information on Enocoro-128v2, which we submitted to CRYPTREC in 2010.

Submission Documents

CRYPTREC has started accepting applications of ``cryptographic techniques towards the revision of the e-Government Ciphers List'' in February 2009. The following list of the documents is the technical part of the submission package of Enocoro.

Supplemental Information

Here is a list of reports on security or implementation perspective of the Enocoro family which includes not only Enocoro-128v2 but also Enocoro-80, Enocoro-128v1, and Enocoro-128v1.1. The list will be updated when new reports are available.
