Unlike product design of tangible items or user interface design which creates pictures on a screen; the object of [Service=Business Model] design is intangible, as in [ideas] and [scenarios]. In the framework of examining these factors, there is a necessity to incorporate the viewpoints of designers, experts and other related persons.
This in-house developed, independent idea support tool [BusinessOrigami] is being used at Hitachi, Ltd. Elements that appear to be expected in the service display on person or building frames as symbolic representations. Each frame's role or relation can be examined while being input by pen. The necessary dialogue can easily be conducted from a game perspective to determine the boundaries of expertise needed to build the [Service=Business Model].
