Monitoring (Monitoring & Operation)

Monitoring (Monitoring & Operation)
Function Summary
Power demand monitoring Monitor configured contracted (targeted) electricity volume and threshold values, and issue alerts if consumption deviates from threshold.
Measurement monitoring Collect electricity and various other measurement data, and monitor actual measurement data, as well as calculated and computed data.
Status monitoring Monitor ON/OFF states and and operation modes for target equipment. Support for icon-based, list-based monitoring is available.
Failure/alert monitoring Display failure signals or deviations from threshold values; forward alert information emails and notify the center.
Monitoring of conditions for hierarchical groups Group together monitoring equipment for specific organizations or areas, and monitor conditions for separate groups.
Comprehensive monitoring of conditions for multiple facilities Comprehensively monitor all equipment across multiple facilities of a single organization.
Energy demand prediction Use memory-based reasoning (MBR) to predict energy demand (electricity , cold water , etc) based on weather forecast and other estimated event data.
Prediction of PV power generation Predict photovoltaic (PV) power supply based on regional weather forecast information.

Analysis (Analysis & Diagnostics)

Analysis (Analysis & diagnosis)
Function summary
Power demand history Display historical power demand data on an time axis.
Energy history by equipment Display historical data on operating conditions and energy consumption by equipment on a time axis.
Energy history by area Compile historical data on energy consumption by area and display on a time axis.
Basic-unit analysis Set monthly basic indicators for each facility, specified floor space or for equipment groups (e.g., production lines), and compare with historical data.
COP analysis Display historical data for performance coefficients such as air conditioning and heat source equipment, and make comparisons for said equipment.
Alert analysis Display summary of alert frequency and analyze trends in frequency and alert type by equipment.
Energy-saving management (target/performance) Display graphs and tables comparing target values below with historical data.
  1. Energy consumption
  2. Calorie equivalent for total energy
  3. Crude oil equivalent for total energy
  4. CO2 equivalent for total energy
  5. Total energy cost
Annual data comparison (using performance data) Display graphs and tables comparing target values below with historical data for the current and last two years.
  1. Energy consumption
  2. Calorie equivalent for total energy
  3. Crude oil equivalent for total energy
  4. CO2 equivalent for total energy
  5. Total energy cost
Building (area) comparison / Display of ranking Display ranking of energy consumption data (including basic units, KPIs) per building (area) as well as corresponding cost data in tabular format.
Graphical display of statistics Display various data measurements graphically (time series graph, line graph, bar graph, stacked graph). User freedom in setting the horizontal and vertical axes and combinations facilitates various types of analysis.

Control (Booking of Control Methods)

Control (Booking of Control Methods)
Function summary
Air conditioner control Automatic scheduled control to individual / group / batch unit(On/Off, Temperature setting, Operation mode setting). Intermittent blast operation in accordance with set operation schedule. Temperature resetting to meet the set temperature every certain time period. Off control after patrol time.
Lighting control Control start/stop of air conditioning equipment and temperature settings individually, by group, or all together. Automated control is also available via scheduled operation, intermittent operation, and patrol operation configurations.
Control of equipment interaction Set interaction criteria for operationally-linked equipment, and control equipment interaction between multiple devices based on these settings.
Control of seasonal changes Set seasonal groups and control the switchover in equipment operations based on different seasons (periods).
Storage-battery control Control operation schedule for storage battery charging and discharging. Automatically calculate and control the discharge rate to ensure it stays within the threshold values in both directions.
Control private generator Control scheduled start/stop for private generator equipment. Use follow-up control for power load and operational control such as unit control.
Optimized control for diversified heat source equipment Based on collected data, calculate control target values for start/stop, water conveyance temperature and flow to minimize target functions such as operational costs of overall heat source equipment, and control equipment components such as refrigerator and pumps.
Power-demand (peak cut) Cut off (control) load based on preconfigured control levels to avoid incoming power from exceeding contracted levels (target levels). Targeted upper limits for contracted electricity volume can be set for 30 minute intervals, and adjusted as needed.
Guidance for supply-demand adjustments By linking up with plants' manufacturing execution system (MES), conduct energy simulations and peak shifts for entire plant based on production plans. Conduct manual adjustments of production schedules or automatic adjustments based on optimal logic for energy loads, and send feedback for production plan.
Control equipment during power outages/recovery Set equipment operation during power outages or recovery, and control equipment in accordance with settings.

Report (Report & Maintenance)

Report (Report & Maintain)
Function summary
Compile daily, monthly, annual reports Compile daily, monthly, and annual energy consumption reports based on various units such as buildings, plants, companies, etc.
Compile reports for public agencies Compile business reports by designated category for government and municipality offices.
List alert occurrences Output list of alerts based on selected period and equipment.
Compile equipment maintenance plan Enter maintenance plan by verifying failure and alert information for targeted equipment.
